Whoaaaa … where did summer go? We JUST got our groove on and now you’re telling me school is around the corner? Why did I not slow down and savor a little more? Why didn’t I schedule a few more weeks of oh, say, A B S O L U T E L Y N O T H I N G instead of signing us up for more activities?
I’m not the only one feeling this way, am I?
Alas. Today begins the last three weeks of summer. And I am determined to appreciate Every. Single. Moment. (Tell me that when I’m shouting at my boys to stop clobbering each other with the plastic bats in the backyard, or when my eleven month old is playing light as a feather stiff as a board as I attempt to load her into the carseat in the 90-degree heat). Okay, I’d settle for appreciating most of the moments. Or even half of the moments.
Speaking of appreciation … while the kids were at camp (or napping) … I had fun creating a new E-Course called “Grounded in Gratitude.” If you need a little reminder to look up, look around and be grateful (actually, 30 little reminders), hop on over and sign up. It starts on September 1st and I’d love for you to join me in cultivating a gratitude practice. I tend to create the courses that I need the most - and right now, gratitude is where it’s at!
